CARLA BRASWELL STUART

Carla Braswell Stuart, age 50, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at Donalsonville Hospital.at Funeral services for Mrs. Stuart will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Donalsonville Church of God with Rev. Glen Elmore and Rev. Merlin Myres officiating.  Interment will follow in the New Life at Lake Seminole Church of God in Donalsonville, GA with Roger Harrell, Stanley Harrell, Bubba Freeman, Will Winburn, Billy Whittaker, and Charles Harrell serving as active casketbearers.  Honorary casketbearers will be Reed Whittaker and Mike Harrell.  Visitation will be held on Sunday evening, October 14, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made to New Life at Lake Seminole Church of God or to Seminole County Warpath on Cancer.Mrs. Stuart was born in Donalsonville, GA on December 1, 1967 to Johnny Ellis Braswell and Linda Powell Braswell.  She worked for a number of years as the office manager for the PX in Bainbridge, GA. She was a member of New Life at Lake Seminole Church of God where she was active in the Women's Auxiliary, the church co-clerk, a Sunday School teacher, youth leader, and loved fishing.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Vic Stuart of Donalsonville, GA; her mother, Linda Braswell of Donalsonville, GA; her mother-in-law, Mary Stuart of Bainbridge, GA; her daughters, Ansley Stuart and Emily Swearingain (David) all of Donalsonville, GA; her sister-in-law, Yvonne Stuart of Donalsonville, GA; and her brother-in-law, Ken Stuart (Sara) of Donalsonville, GA.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dagen Bennett and Gracyn Bennett, as well as several nieces and nephews.Mrs. Stuart was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Ellis Braswell; her father-in-law, Morris "Shine" Stuart; and her grandparents, Carl and Eunice Braswell and Ray and Jewell Powell.
