EVA NELL SMITH JONES

Eva Nell Jones, age 88, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Monday morning, October 8, 2018 at Great Gran’s Assisted Living Home in Donalsonville, GA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Interment will be held in Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA with Joel Jones, Jason Jones, Shawn Odom, Tracy Odom, David Hodges and Wilton Albritton serving as casketbearers. Visitation will be held from 1:00-1:45 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Jones was born in Pansey, AL on December 14, 1929 to Ranzy Smith and Ada Love Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God in Donalsonville.    She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Lamar Jones and his wife Marian; her daughters, Martha Odom and Linda Hodges and her husband Phil all of Donalsonville, GA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joel Jones, Jason Jones, Sharon Varnum, Tracy Odom, Shawn Odom, Kristi Albritton and David Hodges; her great grandchildren, Robert Jones, Christopher Jones, Laura Jones, Lynsey Jones, Bradley Varnum, Brandon Varnum, Eve Varnum, Lane Odom, Carson Odom, Eliza Odom, Christian Albritton, Mattie Grace Hodges, Sloane Odom, Mary Beth Hodges and Lydia Albritton; as well as 3 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, Ranzy Smith and Ada Love Smith; her husband, Radford Jones; five brothers and one sister. Arrangements entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
