PAULINE MARTIN DAVIS

October 31, 1908 — March 1, 2005

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Pauline Martin Davis, age 95, of Breckenridge, TX who passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul United Methodist Church of Breckenridge, TX. Rev. Harrell Braddock will officiate with Rev. Andrew Channer to assist. Graveside services will be Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 2:00 PM in the Brinson Cemetery in Brinson, GA with the Rev. Luther Hastey officiating. Graveside services will be under the direction of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home of Donalsonville, GA. Mrs. Davis was born on October 31, 1908 in Decatur County, GA to the late John Alexander and Florence Brinson Martin. She attended school in Seminole County, Georgia. Pauline married George Bush Davis on June 20, 1929 in Donalsonville, GA. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Bainbridge, GA, where she attended the Wesley Fellowship Sunday School Class, and a member of the Sunshine Club in Donalsonville, GA. In 1985, Pauline moved to Texas. While living in Breckenridge, she was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Quilters Club. She was also a volunteer at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Breckenridge. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 3 sisters, 4 brothers, and 1 daughter. Mrs. Davis is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Terri and husband, John Walker of Breckenridge; a sister, Nita Harrell of Donalsonville, GA; grandchildren: Kim Marguess of Ft. Worth, TX and Bryan Walker of Round Rock, TX. Also, her great-grandchildren: Jordan Marguess, Kaitlyn Walker, Brynalise Walker, and Caleb Walker. Memorials may be made to The Gideons International or the St. Paul United Methodist Church Building Fund.
