DAISY NELL RICH OLIVIT

We regret to announce the passing of Daisy N. Rich Olivit, age 71, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Friday, March 11, 2005, at Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville, GA. Funeral services for Mrs. Olivit will be held on Monday March 14, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Friendship United Methodist Church in Donalsonville with Rev. Luther Hastey and Rev. Kirk Loyless officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon, March 13, 2005 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Olivit was born in Quincy, FL on May 26, 1933 to the late Uziah and Lillie Mae Sheffield Rich. She was a retired registered nurse, having served at Moody Air Force Base in the Civil Service. Mrs. Olivit had lived in Seminole County for many years and was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Phyllis G. Cross and her fiance Frank Thomas of Blakely, GA and a son, Gregory D. Granger and his wife Amanda of San Diego, CA; a step-son Drew Olivit of Donalsonville, GA. Two grandsons and two great-grandsons also survive. Pallbearers will be Mike Tucker, Edward Fiveash, Marvin Tucker, Jerry Cunningham, Billy Kimbrel, and Louis Bonner. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, Northeast FL/GA Office, 8384 Baymeadows Road, Suite 10, Jacksonville, FL 32256 or to Wiregrass Hospice 432 East Shotwell Street Bainbridge, GA 39817.
