RAYMOND EDWIN MILLER

April 6, 1939 — March 28, 2005

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Raymond Miller, age 65, of Donalsonville who passed away on Monday March 28, 2005 at the Donalsonville Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Miller will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Merritt, Dr. Ron McCaskill, and Rev. Luther Hastey officiating. Interment will follow in the Hebrew Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, March 29, 2005 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Miller was born in Seminole County, GA on April 6, 1939 to the late John Fuller and Estelle Florence Pace Miller. He graduated from Jakin High School in 1957 and worked with the Postal Service here for 40 years. He served for several years on the board of directors for the Donalsonville Country Club, as well as serving a 4 year term on the Seminole County Board of Education. Mr. Miller served the citizens of Seminole County for 8 years as a County Commissioner. He was a member of the Hebrew Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Miller leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Pam Miller; three sons, Ronnie Miller and his wife Karen, Scott Miller and his wife Babs, and Steve Miller all of Donalsonville, GA; four brothers, Watson Miller and his wife Walla of Tallahassee, FL, Frank Miller and his wife LaRue of Edison, GA, Jimmy Miller of Donalsonville, GA, and Gerald Miller and his wife Sharon of Donalsonville, GA;and one sister, Lillian Gallatin of Columbus, GA. Seven grandchildren, Carabeth and Annabeth Miller, Lance, Adam, and Emma Kate Miller, and Chris and Lyle Miller, also survive; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Mike Miller, Mark Miller, Greg Miller, Ralph Jones, Tony Atkinson, Tracy Atkinson, Roger Atkinson, and Tom Atkinson. Honorary pallbearers will be present and past Seminole County Commissioners, members of the Donalsonville Country Club, and members of the graduating class of 1957 from Jakin High School. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Hebrew Freewill Baptist Church Donalsonville, GA 39845.
