ROSE NELL CROSS

We regret to announce the passing of Rose Nell Cross of Climax, GA who passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Cross will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church in Iron City, GA with Dewitt Phillips and Lem Joiner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Cross was born on Oct. 4, 1934 in Seminole County, GA to the late Blumer S. and Bedia Jane Roberts Stinson. She was a seamstress having worked for many years at Williams and Dickie Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Potter's House Church in Bainbridge, GA. Mrs. Cross leaves to cherish her memory a son, Buddy Sherrer and his wife Kathy of Climax, GA; three daughters, Charlotte Dubey and her husband Harley of Orlando, FL, Melinda McConnell and her husband Richard of Bainbridge, GA, and Amanda Reffitt and her husband Terry of Whigham, GA; and one sister, Bobbie J. Hart of Colquitt, GA. Nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Brenda Ann Kirkland.
