BETTY JANE JOINER SHEDD

We regret to announce the passing of Betty Jane Joiner Shedd, age 65, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Sunday, April 3, 2005 at her residence. Funeral services for Ms. Shedd will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric Boomer officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakview Church of God Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday evening, April 4, 2005 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Ms. Shedd was born in Seminole County, GA on Nov. 4, 1939 to the late Joseph F. and Daisy Hartzog Joiner. She graduated from Seminole County High School in 1957. She had been employed as a bookkeeper at Greene Poultry since 1991. Ms. Shedd is survived by a daughter, Lori J. Shedd of Iron City, GA; a son, William Stanley Shedd of Donalsonville, GA; three sisters, Pat Temples and Myrtle Drake of Donalsonville, and Lorene Simpson of Jonesboro, GA; and one brother, Thomas Joiner of Iron City, GA . Three grandchildren, Rocky Smith, William David Smith, Sr., and April Chase and two great grandchildren, William David Smith, Jr. and Daisy Smith, also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dorothy Greene.
