EDWARD LAMAR DOLLAR, SR.

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Edward Lamar Dollar, Sr., age 91, of Eufaula, AL. Mr. Roberts passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Crowne Health Care of Eufaula. Funeral services for Mr. Dollar will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Dr. Calvin Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA with Ronnie Skipper, Carlton Skipper, Emerson Skipper, Ronnie Shiver, Steve Houston and Cody Houston serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Dollar was born in Cairo, GA on July 18, 1921 to the late Edward Farmer Dollar and Nettie Quill Hawk Dollar. Mr. Dollar worked as a surveyor for the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Lucy Skipper Dollar of Donalsonville, GA; his son, Edward L. Dollar, Jr. and his wife Frankie of Eufaula, AL; daughters, Thresa Dollar of Albany, GA, Shorona Gipson and her husband Curtis. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Farmer Dollar and Nettie Quill Hawk Dollar.
