Fannie Bell Temples Weeks

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Fannie Bell Temples Weeks, age 91, of Donalsonville, GA. Mrs. Weeks passed away Thursday afternoon, October 24, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Weeks will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Garrett officiating. Interment will follow in Lynn Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday evening, October 26, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Weeks was born in Early County, GA on March 21, 1922 to Glenn Wooten Temples and Nezella Chandler Temples. Mrs. Weeks had lived in Seminole County for approximately 70 years. She was a member of Hammock Springs Freewill Baptist Church and of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Weeks was one of the original members of the Seminole County Rescue Unit. She enjoyed fishing, embroidering, and camping, but most of all she cherished the time that she spent with her children and grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Bobbie Beaver of Ft. Mill, South Carolina, Betty Penland and her husband Doug of Piedmont, South Carolina, Sandra Jones and her husband Charles of Donalsonville, GA, Sue Drury and her husband Howard of Donalsonville, GA, Virginia Jones and her husband Ralph of Iron City, GA, Linda Page and her husband Ron of Dublin, GA, Harriett Pack and her husband Mark of Rentz, GA, Delores Weeks of Donalsonville, GA, Bubba Weeks and his wife Barbara of Jakin, GA, and Clara Knowles and her husband Burt of Macon, GA. She is also survived by a sister, Lillian Johnson of Blakely, GA; 19 grandchildren,30 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Mrs. Weeks was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Wooten Temples and Nezella Chandler Temples; her husband, Owen Wilson Weeks, Sr; and a grandson, Daron Gordon. Active pallbearers will be Patrick Beaver, Quint Wilhoit, Ricky Alday, Michael Kight, Jeff Croom, and Steven Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Croom, Matthew Pack, and Paul Kirkland. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 1547 Clifton Road Atlanta, GA 30322.
