ALLIOUS WELLINGTON AVERETT

Mr. Allious Wellington Averett, age 91, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Saturday evening, Feb. 8, 2014 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, GA. Graveside services for Mr. Averett will be held on Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 11, 2014 at 3:15 PM at Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA with Dr. Calvin Arnold officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:30 to 3:00 at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Averett was born in Cypress, FL on Nov. 9, 1922 to Edwin Matthew Averett and Susie Anna Culverhouse Averett. He served his country in the United States Army and retired from the Florida Dept. of Public Safety. He leaves to cherish his memory, 2 nieces, Geneva A. Cunningham of Lakeland, FL and Nina Sue A. Armstrong of Catlettsburg, KY and 1 nephew, Wayne Easom of Donalsonville, GA. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Nunnery, Matt Nunnery, and Hewett Nunnery.
