JOAN TYE

We regret to announce the passing of Robbie Joan Tye, age 82, of Donalsonville, GA.  Ms. Tye passed away Saturday afternoon, March 22, 2104 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home.  Graveside funeral services for Ms. Tye will be held on Monday afternoon, March 24, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Union Missionary Church Cemetery in Miller County with Rev. Andy Glover officiating.  Ms. Tye was born in Donalsonville, GA on Feb. 8, 1932 to Jim Bob Trawick and Beatrice Tye Trawick.  She worked for a number of years as a clerk for Western Auto and enjoyed helping to care for her nieces and nephews and their children.  Ms. Tye was a member of Corinth Free Will Baptist Church in Iron City, GA.She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Karen Durham of Iron City, GA; nephews and nieces, Mitch and Heather Smith of Donalsonville, GA, Jeff and Paula Smith of Blakely, GA, and Don and Dianne Sullivan of Colquitt, GA.  Several great nieces and nephews also survive.
