Mrs. Mary L. Robinson McDowell, age 83, of Edison, GA formerly of Donalsonville, GA passed away on May 12, 2014 at Southwest Regional Medical Center in Cuthbert, GA Funeral services for Mrs. McDowell will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM at the chapel. Mary was born in Seminole County, GA on July 19, 1930 to Carvous and Lucinda Alday Robinson. She was a homemaker and a member of Salem Seminole Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Elaine Crews and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by his parents; Carvous and Lucinda Alday Robinson, her husband; Buford McDowell; son, Wayne House; four brothers and seven sisters.
