EUDENE WILLIAMS BOWEN

Eudene Williams Bowen, age 92, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Friday morning, May 30, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. Funeral services for Mrs. Bowen will be held on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Gerald Hollis and Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery in Jakin, GA with Bob Bankston, Bryant Hatcher, Todd Hatcher, Bennie Williams, Roy Barber and Stephen Dunning serving as active casketbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM. Mrs. Bowen was born in Cottonwood, Alabama on October 1, 1921 to James Benjamin Williams and Martha Lord Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Patricia Bowen Conard of Albany, GA, and a granddaughter, Jeri Leann Saunders and her husband Tony of Albany, GA. Mrs. Bowen was preceded in death by her parents, James Benjamin and Martha Lord Williams; her husband, Quincy Edward Bowen; 3 brothers, Chalker Williams, Ellis Williams, Fletcher Williams; and 3 sisters, Christine Easom, Bell Wood, and Edna Cameron.
