GREGORY THOMAS KARACIC

Gregory Thomas Karacic, age 58, of Donalsonville, GA and formerly of Chicago, Illinois, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at his residence. Visitation for Mr. Karacic will be held on Monday evening, June 9, 2014 from 6:00-7:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. There will be a Rosary Service immediately following the visitation at the funeral home chapel with Father Dave Hamm officiating. Funeral services for Mr. Karacic will be held on Tuesday morning, June 10, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Messer officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Mr. Karacic was born on September 10, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to Thomas Karacic and Anne Sanfilippo Karacic. He was a purchasing officer for John B. Sanfilippo and Son in Bainbridge, GA. Mr. Karacic served his country in the United States Navy. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #157 in Donalsonville, as well as a member of the Catholic faith. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Barbara Adams Karacic of Donalsonville, GA; his father,Thomas Karacic and his wife Carmelita of Chicago, Illinois; his mother, Anne Karacic of Chicago, Illinois; one son, Brandon Hornsby of Bainbridge, GA; one brother, Dr. Joseph Karacic and his wife Barbara of Chicago, Illinois; two sisters, Roseanne Christman and her husband Rip of Chicago, Illinois and Elaine Donovan and her husband Timothy of Scottsdale, Arizona. Mr. Karacic is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
