MARY SCOTT GENTRY BRECKENRIDGE

Mary Scott Gentry Breckenridge, age 87, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Tuesday morning, August 12, 2014 at Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta, GA. Funeral services for Ms. Breckenridge will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Friendship United Methodist Church in Donalsonville, GA. Interment will be in Friendship Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday evening, August 15, 2014 from 6:00-7:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Ms. Breckenridge was born on February 5, 1927 to the late Dick Scott Gentry and Odessa Johnson Gentry. She was a homemaker; member of Friendship United Methodist Church and the Methodist Women. She enjoyed playing with the senior golf group. She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Dr. Homer E. Breckenridge, III and his wife Ruth of Donalsonville, GA; Dr. Rufus G. Breckenridge and his wife Judy of Greenville, TN and Ralph Breckenridge of Valdosta, GA; daughter, Beth Dodds and her husband Al of Valdosta, GA; sister, Sandra Gentry Henderson and her husband Lewis of Hinesville, GA; brother, Butch Gentry and his wife Nina of Conroe, TX. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
