EDDIE LOU WATFORD CONRAD

Eddie Lou Watford Conrad, age 80, of Donalsonville, GA and formerly of Bascom, FL passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, December 31, 2014 at Great Gran’s Personal Care Home in Donalsonville. Funeral services for Mrs. Conrad will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM EST at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Bascom, FL with Rev. Henry Fullington officiating. Interment will follow in Coonrod Cemetery in Bascom with B.J. Conrad, Joseph Conrad, Elijah Conrad, Barry Brookins, Casey Calloway, and Travis Martin serving as active casketbearers. Visitation will be held on Friday evening, January 2, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM EST at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. Mrs. Conrad was born in Gordon, AL on May 1, 1934 to Charles Ed Watford and Lossie Jordan Watford. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Bascom, FL and a homemaker. She loved to paint and was an excellent artist. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Brenda Brookins and her husband David of Donalsonville, GA and Debbie Calloway and her husband Ronny of Bascom, FL; her son, Bill Conrad and his wife Donna of Bascom, FL; a brother, Eddie B. Watford of Gordon, AL; and a sister, Lois Hatcher of Bascom, FL. Mrs. Conrad is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Conrad was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Ed Watford and Lossie Jordan Watford; her husband, William Benjamin Conrad; and 8 siblings.
