HARVEY C. (BUNKY) WHITTAKER

Harvey C. (Bunky) Whittaker passed away at home on Monday, January 5, 2015. Visitation and memorial services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Brinson Baptist Church, 272 McNair Street, Brinson, GA. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 AM with memorial services following at 11:00 AM. Bunky was born March 9, 1947. A lifelong resident of Spring Creek, he was an avid sportsman. He was the third generation proprietor of Pace's Fish Camp. He is survived in life by his wife, Wanda Faye Hornsby Whittaker; his daughter Pam Sheffield Stone; his son, H. Cliff Whittaker II, and his grandson, Grant T. Sparks. Other survivors include his mother, Gloria Pace McCullough; brothers, Charles Whittaker, Randy Whittaker, Frank McCullough, Neal McCullough; sisters, Donna Messner, Sheila Lane, Kay Craig, Tina Dopudja, and Kristie Horner. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harvey Neil Pace and Jewell Cordell Pace.
