LESSIE APPLEGATE

We regret to announce the passing of Lessie V Talley Applegate, age 92, of Donalsonville, GA on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Donalsonville Hospital ER. Ms. Applegate was born in Dothan, AL on January 31, 1923 to Oscar Lee Talley and Dissie Brookins Talley. She was a homemaker and member of Family Worship Center. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Jimbo Thornton, Eddie Frank Thornton, Diane Sears, and David J. Thornton; her grandchildren, Karly Davis, Bo Thornton, Kimberly Bearden, and Tony Sears; as well as her great grandchildren, Meagan McClain, Trey McClain, Gracie Thornton, Robert Sears, Samantha Sears, and Tony Sears, Jr. She is also survived by two sisters, Francis M. Rice and Jeffie D. Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Lee Talley and Dissie Brookins Talley.
