ROGER JULIUS BENNETT

Roger Julius Bennett, age 65, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Sunday morning, July 5, 2015 at his residence. The family will be having a Celebration of Life service at his home Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM. The address is 8059 Clearwater Drive Donalsonville, GA. Mr. Bennett was born in Rockford, IL on December 2, 1949 to Melvin Bennett and Mary Moorefield Bennett. He had lived in Donalsonville for the past 20 years and was a truck driver, driving for Southwest Georgia Oil Company. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Janet Bennett of Donalsonville, GA; his parents, Melvin and Mary Bennett of Donalsonville, GA; two daughters, Angela Fausett of Tallahassee, FL and Shyleen Lawson and her husband Jeffery of Donalsonville, GA; two sons, Chad Bennett and wife Amy of Winslow, IL and Jeffrey Bennett of Rockford, IL; an adopted son, Ron Blecker of Tigard,Oregon; and a sister, Rita Daughtry and her husband James "Z" of Tallahassee, FL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Brendon Gillis, Dakota Leiske, Montana Leiske, Cassidy Leiske, Landon Lawson, Alec Bennett, and Paige Bennett.
