EUNICE CRAWFORD SPOONER

Eunice Crawford Spooner, 76, died July 25, 2015. A native of Augusta, GA she was a daughter of the late Bailey and Mattie Isdale Crawford and was the widow of Albert Wayne Spooner. Mrs. Spooner lived in the Athens area for the last thirty-one years, having moved from Colquitt GA. She was a graduate of the University of Georgia and was a member of Alpha XI Delta. Mrs. Spooner attended First United Methodist Church of Athens and enjoyed spending time with family and friends and traveling. Memorial services will be Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until service time. Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Albert Wayne Spooner, Jr. and Russell Anderson (Stephanie) Spooner; two grandchildren, Tristen Spooner and Jillian Spooner. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Athens-Clarke County Animal Shelter.
