MARVIN DALE "BUBBA" CHANCE

We regret to announce the passing of Marvin Dale “Bubba” Chance, age 66 , of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Monday afternoon, Nov. 23, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Chance will be held on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church with Rev. Laddie DeRocco and Rev. James Younis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Kevin Hamblin, Philmore Higginbotham, Cecil Croom, Boley Elkins, Milton Smith, and C.E. Earnest serving as active casketbearers and employees of PTI serving as honorary casketbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM at the church. Shotwell Street Bainbridge, GA 39817. Mr. Chance was born in Donalsonville, GA on Nov. 3, 1949 to Eddie Chance and Mable Earnest Chance. He was a semi-truck driver, having driven most recently for Paper Transport. Mr. Chance was a member of Salem-Seminole Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Brenda Lynn Chance of Donalsonville, GA; his mother, Mable Chance of Donalsonville, GA; a son, Russell Chance and his wife Joni of Climax, GA; a daughter, Amanda Reese of Donalsonville, GA; two brothers, Carlton “Cotton” Chance and Ed “Eddie” Chance, both of Donalsonville, GA; and a sister, Marla Touchton of Donalsonville, GA. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Dustin Chance, Jessica Norton, Brandon Reese Marie McCall, Johnnie Merritt, and Nichole Toliver; as well as one great grandchild, Reese Norton. Mr. Chance was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Chance; a brother, Bill Chance; and his son-in-law, Bryon Reese.
