Lucy Skipper Dollar, age 90, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Monday afternoon, February 15, 2016 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville, GA. Funeral services for Mrs. Dollar will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Dr. Calvin Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Mrs. Dollar was born in Colquitt, GA on June 12, 1925 to John Skipper and Lela Widner Skipper. She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Edward Dollar and his wife Frankie of Donalsonville, GA; two daughters, Thersa Dollar of Albany, GA, and Shrona Gipson and her husband Curtis of Donalsonville, GA. She is also survived by two grandchildren. Mrs. Dollar was preceded in death by her parents, John Skipper and Lela Widner Skipper; her husband, Edward Lamar Dollar; and her sister, Irene Skipper Harris.
