WINONA BROXTON EASOM

April 21, 1922 — March 14, 2016

Winona Broxton Easom, age 93, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Monday morning, March 14, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Easom will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM at South Mt. Zion Church of God with Rev. Charles Green officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens with John Collins, Ronnie Skipper, Farish Mulkey, Neil Moulton, Calvin Love, and Tommy Moulton serving as active casketbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM at the church. Mrs. Easom was born in Bascom, FL on April 21, 1922 to Frank Broxton and Nettie Herring Broxton. She was a homemaker and a member of South Mt. Zion Church of God. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Joanne Andrews and her husband Douglas of Donalsonville, GA; a sister, Wilma Houston of Lakeland, FL; her grandchildren, Michelle Pumphrey and her husband Hank of Donalsonville, GA, Steve Andrews and his wife Anna of Donalsonville, GA, Timmy Easom and his wife Amber of Donalsonville, GA, Troy Easom and his wife Shirley of Donalsonville, GA, Terry Easom and his wife Andrea of Fayetville, NC, Jerri Vincent and her husband Matt of Bridgeport, WV, and Sheila Sherman of Miami, OK. Mrs. Easom is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Easom was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Broxton and Nettie Herring Broxton; her husband, Lester Easom; five brothers, Lonnie Broxton, Winson Broxton, Herman Broxton, Collie Broxton, and Rollie Broxton; and two sons, Roy Easom and Rodney Easom.
