Earnest Eugene Hanks

Earnest Eugene Hanks, age 64, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Mr. Hanks had requested for no services to be held. Mr. Hanks was born November 23, 1951 in Donalsonville, GA to the late William Hanks and Dorothy Skipper Hanks Elkins. He served his country in the United States Army. He is survived by his daughters, Whitney Michelle Carmichael of Bainbridge, GA, Jenny Reed of Ft. Rucker, AL, Melody Nelson of Phoenix City, AL, and Deborah Lee Cordova of California; a brother, John Hanks of Webb, AL; and a sister, Diane Bradshaw of Colquitt, GA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Hanks and Dorothy Skipper Hanks Elkins; a sister, Carolyn Varnum; a brother, Boyd Hanks; and a granddaughter, Sabina Hanks.
