BEATRICE DORTCH

Beatrice Dortch, age 82, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Saturday afternoon, May 7, 2016 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. A private family memorial service will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, GA. Mrs. Dortch was born in Grove Hill, AL on Feb. 23, 1934 to Alva Dortch and Clara Belle Sheffield Dortch. She was a homemaker. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Gary Dortch and his wife Faye of Pavo, GA, Buddy Dortch and his wife Vicki of Panama City, FL, Jackie Thorpe of Prattville, AL, Roy Dortch and his wife Linda of Macon, GA, and Betty Hart of Crestview, FL. She is also survived by a brother, Hollis Dortch of Cantonment, FL and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Dortch was preceded in death by her parents, Alva Dortch and Clara Belle Sheffield Dortch; her husband, Cecil Dortch; and two daughters, Cindy Phelps and Sherry Barrett.
