JEFFERY "JAKE" SHEFFIELD

Jeffery “Jake” Sheffield, age 50, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday July 6, 2016 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Sheffield will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, GA with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service. Mr. Sheffield was born on February 20, 1966 to H.T. and Lynette Hunt Sheffield. He was a farmer and member of Flat Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed running the combine, fishing, and farming. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Kathy Sheffield of Donalsonville, GA; his brother, Tim Sheffield and wife Theresa of Colquitt, GA; a niece and two nephews, Heather Sheffield, Ryan Sheffield, and Trey Sheffield all of Colquitt, GA. He is also survived by special friends, Jerry Cunningham and Frankie Pruett. Mr. Sheffield was preceded in death by his parents, H.T. and Lynette Hunt Sheffield, and a brother, Tommy Sheffield.
