EDITH ELMORE KING

Edith King, age 96, of Donalsonville, GA passed away July 16, 2016 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. King will be held on Tuesday afternoon, July 19, 2016 at 5:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Walden officiating. A private interment will be held later at Oak City Cemetery in Bainbridge, GA. Ms. King was born in Bainbridge, GA on January 8, 1920 to Jessie Glenn King and Ethel Lee Lynn King. She was a member of Unity Church of God in Iron City, GA. She leaves to cherish her memory, her brother, Lenard Allan "Al" King of Donalsonville, GA and her sister, Onez King Lee of Bainbridge, GA. Ms. King was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Glenn King and Ethel Lee Lynn King, as well as her siblings, Harvey King, Denmark King, Grover Cleveland King, Sadie King Hardgraves, Raymond Cecil King, and Elouise King Cornell.
