JOANN ROBERTS WILLIAMS

JoAnn Roberts Williams, age 78, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Sunday afternoon, July 17, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be held on Tuesday morning, July 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Donalsonville Church of Christ with Rev. Wes Baldwin officiating. The services will conclude in the church; however private interment will be in Friendship Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the church. The men of the church will serve as honorary casketbearers. Mrs. Williams was born June 13, 1938 in Red Boiling Springs, TN to Guy Roberts and Jewel Reeves Roberts. She worked for a number of years as a paraprofessional at the Seminole County Elementary School, a position from which she retired in 2001. She was also an excellent homemaker and loved spending time with and taking trips with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Williams was a member of Donalsonville Church of Christ. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Sharon Forrest of Donalsonville, GA and Ron Williams of Savannah, GA; and her four granddaughters, Rannie, Rachel, Reva, and Riley Ann Forrest all of Donalsonville, GA. Mrs. Williams is also survived by one sister, Sue Wilburn and husband Bobby of Red Boiling Springs, TN and one brother, Dean Roberts and wife Debra of Lafayette, TN; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Jewel Reeves Roberts; her husband, Veachel Williams; and her son-in-law, Robbie Forrest.
