RUPERT LEVONNE LEWIS

Rupert Levonne Lewis, age 73, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Thursday evening, Aug. 4, 2016 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. A memorial service will be held on Sunday afternoon, August 7, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. Taking part in the service will be Rev. James Scarborough, Sharon Renaud, Lamar and Margaret Hicks, and Rev. Herman Enfinger. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family ask memorial contributions be made to Seminole County Warpath on Cancer. Mr. Lewis was born in Donalsonville, GA on March 28, 1943 to Rupert Odis Lewis and Hazel Gay Lewis. He was a farmer and member of Seminole County Young Farmers Association. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Becky Lewis of Donalsonville, GA; his daughters, Sharon Renaud and her husband Kip of Marietta, GA and Alicia Alderman and her husband Paul of Dalton, GA; two sisters, Anne Miller of Fitzgerald, GA and Becky McMasters of Norfolk, VA; and a brother, James A. Lewis of Savannah, GA. Mr. Lewis is also survived by his grandchildren, William Alderman, Charlie Alderman, Lilly Renaud, and Audrey Renaud. Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, Rupert Odis Lewis and Hazel Gay Lewis.
