EUNICE L. FRENCH

Eunice Jenkins French, age 80 of Donalsonville, GA passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. French will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA. Interment will take place at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery in Cairo, GA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. French was born on January 26, 1936 in Cairo, GA to Vester Jenkins and Bernice Ella Gainous Jenkins. She was a homemaker, a member of Salem-Seminole Baptist Church and she loved helping others. Mrs. French is survived by her husband, James Walter French of Donalsonville, GA; a step-son, James Tyler French of Augusta, GA; her sisters, Merle Carr, Mary Clark and Gwen Montgomery; and a brother Wayne Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vester Jenkins and Bernice Ella Gainous Jenkins; her first husband, J. Wayne Collins; a brother, Charles Jenkins; and her sisters, Nelda Jenkins Phelps and Mildred Jenkins.
