James Berkeley Lisenby

James Berkeley Lisenby, age 78, of Jakin, GA passed away Friday morning, August 26, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Monday morning, August 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville. Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 4:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Lisenby was born October 25, 1937 to Rabon and Annie Shelley Lisenby in Seminole County, GA. He served his country in the United States Army and worked at Georgia Pacific. He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons Mark Pace (Tonya Williams) of Jakin, GA and Paul Lisenby of Jakin, GA; a brother, Oscar Lisenby (Elizabeth) of Tallahassee, FL; and a sister-in-law, Mary Lisenby of Donalsonville, GA; as well as nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Mr. Lisenby was preceded in death by his parents, Rabon and Annie Shelley Lisenby; his wife, Norma Jean Lisenby; and two brothers, Wesley Lisenby and Billy Lisenby.
