John Gordon Roberts

John Gordon Roberts, age 92, of Bainbridge, GA passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Roberts will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Dewitt Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with David Byrd, Aaron Brock, Kenny Roberts, and Brennen Roberts serving as casketbearers. Mr. Roberts was born in Blakely, GA on March 3, 1924 to Ben Roberts and Adel McGlamery Roberts. He was a farmer and a member of Corinth Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Roberts is survived by his children, Pasty Ann Floyd and William of Miami, FL, Thomas Roberts and Ruby of Vada, GA, and Randy Roberts and Cheryl of Bainbridge, GA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben Roberts and Adel McGlamery Roberts; his wife, Jo Roberts; sons, Billy Earl Roberts, William Walter (Buddy) Roberts, John G. Roberts, Jr., and Benny Roberts and his daughter, Joann Yates.
