BERNICE BUSH MILLER

Bernice Bush Miller, age 91, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Miller will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 4:00 PM at Rocky Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. John Werner officiating. Interment will be held before the service at Oakview Church of God Cemetery at 3:00 PM with the Deacons of Rocky Ridge Baptist Church serving as honorary casketbearers. The family ask that no flowers be sent but that you would remember Mrs. Bernice with a memorial contribution to Rocky Ridge Baptist Church 1288 Hwy 39N Donalsonville, GA 39845 or to the Seminole County Senior Citizen Center S. Wiley Ave. Donalsonville, GA 39845. Mrs. Miller was born in Colquitt, GA on September 11, 1925 to Earnest Bush and Florence Bush Bush. She retired from Heacock Insurance in Sebring, FL as an Executive Secretary. After moving back to Donalsonville, she worked at Seminole Peanut Company for awhile before becoming the secretary for a number of years at Rocky Ridge Baptist Church. Mrs. Miller enjoyed going to the Senior Citizen Center and looking into family ancestry. She was very much the family historian. Mrs. Miller leaves to cherish her memory, her brother, Glen Bush and his wife Martha of Orange, TX; her step-children, Ronnie Davis of FL, Judy Davis of WA, and Kenny Davis of South Carolina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Bush and Florence Bush; her sisters, Mary Ola Hawkins, Waver Moore, Margaret Boling, and Virginia “Coy” Smith; as well as her brothers, Vernon Bush and Sidney Bush.
