BOBBIE JO JOHNSON PERRY

Bobbie Jo Perry, age 85, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Saturday morning, July 22, 2017 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Perry will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Spring Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Bryan Hatchett officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with her grandsons and great grandson serving as active casketbearers, Adam Perry, Charles Perry, Bryan Perry, Brett Johns, Kyle Perry, Joshua Perry, Chase Perry, Robert Perry, Jr., and Austyn Johns. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Perry was born in Donalsonville, GA on August 28, 1931 to Robert Lee Johnson and Ruth Lovett Johnson. She was an active member of Spring Creek Baptist Church where she taught Bible School for many years. She was a homemaker and loved growing African violets and spending time with her family. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Martha Johns of Donalsonville, GA; her sons, Robert Perry and his wife Jean of Sparta, GA, Larry Perry and his wife Esther of Staunton, VA, Garry Perry and his wife Terri of Donalsonville, GA, and Kevin Perry and his wife Jennie of Lexington, GA; as well as her daughter-in-law, Jeanette Perry of Jakin, GA. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nepehws. Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Johnson and Ruth Lovett Johnson; her husband, Revidee Perry; her brothers and sisters; and her son, Mike Perry.
