LAURA JEANNE JONES DARLEY

Laura Jones Darley, age 49, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Thursday morning, September 21, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services for Ms. Darley will be held on Saturday morning, Sept. 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens with Sam Brown, Kirk Fox, Todd Massey, Stephen Moss, Kevin Wells, and Mark White serving as active casketbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Laura was born in Donalsonville, GA on September 2, 1968 to Percy and Jeanne Jones. She graduated from Seminole County High School where she was a majorette with the Green Machine and a State Literary winner in Business Office Machines. She was the School Days contributor to the Donalsonville News. Laura completed her degree in accounting from Troy State University. She is survived by her son, Reid Darley; her siblings, Mike (Tammy) Jones, Glenn Jones, and Amy (Kevin) Wells; and her step-mother, Marcie Jones. Ms. Darley was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Jeanne Jones.
