MARY MOREFIELD BENNETT

Mary M. Bennett, age 92, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday evening, Oct. 18, 2017 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Bennett will be held on Saturday morning, October 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Friendship Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jimmy Walden officiating. Interment will follow immediately after the service. Mrs. Bennett was born on January 18, 1925 in Johnson City, TN to Landon Morefield and Molly Slemp Morefield. She was a homemaker. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 68 years, Melvin Bennett of Donalsonville, GA; her daughter, Rita B. Daugherty and her husband James of Tallahassee, FL; her daughter-in-law, Janet Bennett of Donalsonville, GA; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her parents, Landon and Molly Slemp Morefield; as well as her son, Roger Bennett.
