BUCK WELDON JONES

Buck Weldon Jones, age 96, of Jakin, GA passed away Monday morning, November 6, 2017 at Donalsonville Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the First Church of the Nazarene in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Scott Messer officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, November 7, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Jones was born in Pensacola, FL on November 3, 1921 to Clarence W. Jones and Claudia M. McCannie Jones. He served his country in the United States Navy and worked in maintenance and engineering for air lines. He leaves to cherish his memory several nieces and nephews. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence W. Jones and Claudia M. McCannie Jones and his wife of 63 years, Evelyn Ingram Jones who passed away October 5, 2017.
