CHRISTY MICHELLE SIMPSON

Christy Michelle Simpson, age 41, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Friday afternoon, Feb. 9, 2018 in Bainbridge, GA. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 14, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Bostick and William Jones officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, Feb. 13, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Ms. Simpson was born on December 9, 1976 in Bainbridge, GA to Coy Simpson, Sr. and Shirley Jones Simpson. She loved to cook and had even attended culinary school. Fishing, playing cards, and listening to music were some of her most enjoyable pasttimes. Ms. Simpson was happiest when spending time with her children. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Paige McCoy of Bainbridge, GA and Kara Leigh McCoy of Donalsonville, GA; her mother, Shirley Cook (Elton Cromer) of Donalsonville, GA; her sisters, Lisa Miller of Donalsonville, GA, Shannon Simpson of Albany, GA, and Angie Keller of Colquitt, GA; her brother, Coy Simpson, Jr. of Texas; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ms. Simpson was preceded in death by her father, Coy Simpson, Sr. Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
