Louise Carson

Louise Carson, 89, of Brinson, GA,  passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024.

A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, September 18, at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Bainbridge, GA.

Anna Louise Bland was born June 14, 1935 in Donalsonville, GA to Thomas Darin “D.A” and Berma Braswell Bland.  She married Harold Hamilton Carson in 1954, and together they had two daughters.  Louise and Harold were married for 46 years before his passing in 2000.  She had been a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses for 68 years.

Louise was a kind-hearted and loving individual who deeply cherished her family and congregation.  She had an infectious laugh and enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Louise also loved and adored her dog, Cookie.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Haire; grandson, Ryan Klen; and her siblings, Joyce Bland, Bessie Amber Maxwell, Lena Bellflower, Lucy Thomas, Dennis Bland, Percy Bland and Tommy “Peanut” Bland.

She is survived by her daughter Donna Earnest (Randy) of Donalsonville, GA and son-in-law, Tony Haire of Bainbridge, GA; grandchildren , Carrie Klen of San Diego, CA, Jennifer McCord (Heywood) and Travis Earnest of Monticello, FL; great-grandchildren Austin Wilford, Mason McCord and Scarlett Earnest of Monticello, FL and Rylee and Layla Klen of Quebec, Canada.  She is also survived by her sister, Alice Jordan of Bainbridge, GA and several nieces and nephews.
