Bobbie Faye Varnum

Bobbie Faye Varnum, age 90, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Monday morning, July 20, 2026, at her residence.

No services will be held per Mrs. Varnum’s wishes.

Mrs. Varnum was born on March 26, 1936, to Thomas Carlisle Hill and Vonnie Viola Glass Hill. She worked as a roofer and enjoyed gardening, working in her yards, watching birds, sitting on her porch and just being in nature. Her greatest joy was playing with her great grandbaby.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Nancy Lawrey, John Varnum (Lucretia), Leonard Varnum (Timi); her sister, Annette Scott; her grandchildren, Eric Varnum and Melinda Faye Varnum; and her great grandchildren, Travis Varnum, Austin Varnum, Elizabeth Varnum, and Columbia Varnum.

Mrs. Varnum was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Carlisle Hill and Vonnie Viola Glass Hill, her husband, John Charleston Varnum; and her siblings.
