BOBBY HILTON BLACK, SR.

Mr. Bobby Hilton Black, Sr., age 78, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Southeast Health in Dothan, AL.

Funeral services for Mr. Black will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Oakview Church of God with Rev. Mylan Brookins and Rev. Gary Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Bradley Grantham, Slade Alday, Jeremy Horne, Clent Mims, Wayne Gulsby and Vance Smith serving as active pallbearers and the members of the Seminole Masonic Lodge #83 will serve as honorary pallbearers. Military honors and Masonic rights will be held at the graveside. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.

Mr. Black was born in Bainbridge, GA on October 10, 1944, to Robert Black and Elma Corene Faircloth. Bobby served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. Mr. Black worked as a school bus driver for the Seminole County School System. He was a proud mason and active member of the Lions club as well as the American Legion. Mr. Black enjoyed going on cruises with his family and friends. He loved his family dearly and was very proud of his children. Mr. Bobby loved his wife so much that he could not bare the world with out her and is now reunited with the love of his life.

He leaves to cherish his memory , his daughter, Susan Brooks and her husband Steven of Donalsonville, GA; his son, Bobby Black Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; his grandsons, Samuel Brooks of Donalsonville, GA and Will Brooks of Bainbridge, GA; and his sisters, Velinda Glass of Blakely, GA, Yvonne Brown and her husband Robert of Vada, GA, Denise Black Clark and her husband Roy of Leesburg, GA, and Abbie Webb Black Gulsby and her husband Wayne of Pensacola, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Black and Elma Corene Faircloth and his wife Susie Black.
