Calvin Love

Calvin Love, age 53, of Donalsonville, Georgia passed away Monday, October 28, 2019 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville with his loving family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer and respiratory illness. A memorial service will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Flat Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Corey Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service starting at 2:00 PM at the church. Mr. Love, a lifelong resident of Donalsonville, was born January 28, 1966 to Thomas and Viola Love. He loved his community and his many friends and especially enjoyed watching movies with his family, horseback riding, the outdoors and dining at 3 Squares. Farming and anything agricultural related was his passion. He was his family’s Angel and adored his children, Leila, Austin and the late Lance Love. Survivors include his daughter Leila Love; son Austin Love; ex-wife and dear friend Monica J. Love; cousin Buddy (Glenda) Glover and numerous loving in-laws.  Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.   Arrangements entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
