CATHERINE DORSETT KENNEDY

Catherine Kennedy, age 77, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at her residence. Services for Ms. Kennedy will be held on Friday, Nov. 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM EST at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with interment to follow at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Curtis Phillips, Chris Phillips, Michael Chandler, Austen Whitehead, Cason Senn, Tim McMillan and John Michael Gilley serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM EST at the funeral home. Mrs. Kennedy was born on January 5, 1944 in Clio, AL to Dewey Dorsett and Vallie Medley. She formerly worked for Sealy Spring Health Spa. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Brenda Sands (Allen) of Dothan, AL, Sandra Almendariz-Greene (Alfredo) of Jakin, GA, Thomas LaDon Greene of Dothan, AL; her sisters, Mollie Phillips, Jeanette Kehle, Laura McMillan; her brother, John Beavers; her grandchildren, Chris Phillips, Curtis Phillips, Cassie Phillips, Journey Paulk, Trooper Montgomery, Harper Paulk, Bruce Lee, Kelly Dale Kennedy, and Allen Greene ; as well as numerous great grandchildren. Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her parents, her very special friend and companion, Sam Beasley; her son, Scott Greene; and her sisters, Revella Dorsett, Maxine McMillan, and Elenor Beasley. Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced later.
