CATHY McLENDON PELLERIN

Cathy McLendon Pellerin, age 71, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Saturday evening, Sept. 23, 2023, at Southeast Health in Dothan, AL.

Funeral services for Ms. Pellerin will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Flat Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Cory Thomas officiating.  Interment will follow in Colquitt City Cemetery with Gavin Womack, Dave Cross, Joshua Edwards, Tommy Lynn, Ben Horne, and Ryan Haire serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM at the church.

Ms. Pellerin was born August 17, 1952, in Donalsonville, GA to Bill McLendon and Hazel Dean Cook McLendon.  She was a retired caregiver and was a graduate of Seminole County High School.  Her passion was taking care of people and her greatest joy came from being with her grandchild, Cade.  She spent her extra time hunting for arrowheads and quilting.  Her dog, Bo, was her faithful companion and always by her side.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her grandson, Cade Nixon; her sisters, Angie Cross, Gayla Vinson and husband Steve, and Paige Edwards and husband Frank; her brother, Bill Barrineau and wife Tabatha; and daughter-in-law, Niki Masters Nixon.  Also surviving are numerous nephews and nieces.

Ms. Pellerin was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Hazel McLendon; her sisters, Jane Wilson and Charlotte McLendon; her brother, Ward Phillips; her son, Jason Nixon; and her niece, Ashley Vinson.
