CHRISTOPHER GEORGE SMITH

Christopher George Smith, age 40, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Thursday evening, February 5, 2026, at his residence.

No services are planned at this time; however, the family will hold a private memorial service at a later time.

Mr. Smith was born in Bainbridge, GA on Jan. 24, 1986, to George Stephen Smith and Marie Christopher Smith.  He was a truck driver for J C B Transportation and attended New Life at Lake Seminole.  Christopher enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his family.  He had a big heart and was a great son, brother, husband, and father.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Carolina Goncalves De Oliveira; his son, Tristan Oliver Goncalves; his mother, Marie Griffin and husband Charles; his father, Steve Smith and wife Teresa; his sisters, Christina Monday and Samantha Burbage and husband Andrew; and his brothers, Matt Smith and Lacey Madden, Buck Lane and Vince Lane.  Also surviving are numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Marjorie Christopher; his paternal grandparents, Alice Trailer and George Smith; his son, Sylar Cole Smith; his mother-in-law, Maria Das Gracas Goncalves De Oliveira and his father-in-law, Walter Nascimento De Oliveira.
