CLIFFORD EARL ANDERSON

Clifford E. Anderson, age 96, of Blakely, GA passed away Monday evening, March 21, 2022 at Early Memorial Nursing Home in Blakely, GA. Funeral services for Mr. Anderson will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Blakely First Assembly of God with Rev. Jerry Murkerson officiating. Interment will follow in Blakely City Cemetery with Keith Chandler, Jeff Chandler, Aaron Anderson, Trevor Harmon, Ronnie Allegro, and William Davis serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 3:00 PM at Blakely First Assembly of God. Mr. Anderson was born in Columbia, AL on Nov. 8, 1925 to John Franklin and Annie Blackmon Anderson. He served his country in the United States Army and retired from Proctor and Gamble where he worked as a machinist. Mr. Anderson loved gardening, spending time with his family, and enjoyed living the country life to its fullest. He was a member of Blakely First Assembly of God Church. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Onez Anderson of Blakely, GA; his children, Marlene Chandler of Blakely, GA, Sharon Allegro and Ronnie of Longwood, FL, Earl Anderson and Kerry of Baldwin, GA, and Angie Harmon and Brandon of Blakely, GA; 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren. Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents, John Franklin and Annie Blackmon Anderson; two brothers, Johnny Anderson and Clarence Anderson; two sisters, Lunie Mae Batson and Bertha Garrett; a son-in-law, Preston Chandler; and a great granddaughter, Hillary Lynn Chandler.
