DONALSONVILLE

Corinne Helen Brewer Williams, age 91, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Tuesday morning, Feb. 21, 2023 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home.

Graveside services for Mrs. Williams will be held on Friday, Feb. 24, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Crown Hill Cemetery in Albany, GA with Rev. Jeffery Spicer officiating. Mrs. Williams was born in Clinton, Massachusetts on March 6, 1931 to Clifton and Helen Estabrook Brewer.  She participated in volunteer work in almost all of the towns she lived in over her life, but she was most proud of her founding work with the American Children with Disabilities Association in her area.  As President of her chapter, she received numerous awards and even received a letter from the President’s daughter who helped create the association thanking her for all of her work.  Mrs. Williams’ hobbies included crochet, needlework, and puzzles.  She loved to dance, especially the polka, and left this love and talent to all of her children. Mrs. Williams was a devout Christian and attended many churches in the different places she had called home.  Here in Donalsonville, she was a member of Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church.  She never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew her, and she will be missed by all.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Robert S. Williams; her children, Walter Landin, Wayne Landin, Cliff Landin, Craig Landin, Gloria Idiaan, Ruby Griffin, and Beth Williams; her brother, Freddie Brewer and her sisters, Shirley Lipka and Doris Shortt.  Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Helen Estabrook Brewer; her first husband, Milton Landin; and her son, Glenn Landin.
