DANNY EARL LOVE, JR.

Danny Earl Love, Jr., age 45, of Blakely, GA passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025 in Early County.

Funeral services for Mr. Love will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Love officiating. Interment will follow in the Love Family Cemetery, 5799 Fryer Road, Blakely, GA 39823 with Hayden Haire, Hunter Evans, Phil Buckhalter, Lavon Tice, Kim Pyle, and William Smith serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Zack Whitley and Don Barnes. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Love was born in Colquitt, GA on June 9, 1980, to Danny Earl Love, Sr. and Debra Robinson Love. He was a water well contractor, working with his father. Mr. Love attended Springfield Baptist Church. Danny lived a life marked by dedication and love. He found joy in anything he did. Danny had a warm smile and his friendly demeanor left an impression on everyone he met. He had a heart of gold and loved everyone. Danny always knew the right place, time, and setting for everything. At a young age Danny had already developed a passion for hunting whether it was deer, squirrels, or coon hunting. He stayed in the woods or was bringing something out of the woods all the time. If you couldn’t find him in the woods, he was on a dirt road listening to Elvis Presley, Conway Twitty, or Hank Williams, Sr., doing anything to stay busy. He loved to swim, and it didn’t matter where, it could be in a creek or pond. Danny was always a joy to be around, spending most of his time with his family or reading his bible. Working on drilling wells took up the vast majority of his time, and he became an expert starting at the age of 17. He put a lot of hard work and dedication towards his line of work. His compassionate nature and vibrant spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Danny left a mark wherever he went.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Danny Love, Sr. and Debra Love of Blakely, GA; his sons, Tyler Love and Danny Earl Love, III (autumn) all of Blakely, GA; his brother, Tim Watson (Christa) of Blakely, GA; his sisters, Lynn Dixon of Donalsonville, GA and Wendy Roland (Donny) of Jakin, GA; as well as his grandchildren, Creeden Love, Colben Tiner, and one on the way. Also surviving are his paternal grandmother, Bobbie Ruth Varnum Love of Blakely, GA; his aunt, Laura Amos (Raymond) of Blakely, GA; nieces, Sidney Odom (Dakota Mock) and Haley Whitley (Zack); nephews, Tristan Watson (Haven) and Caden Watson; along with numerous other nieces and nephews.

Mr. Love was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, J.D. Love; his maternal grandparents, Paul and Juanita Robinson; and a brother, Gary Watson.
