David Lee Strickland

Mr. David Lee Strickland, also known as "Strick 9", of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026, at his residence at the age of 65.

Memorial services for Mr. Strickland will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. 

Mr. Strickland was born in Blakely, GA on March 5, 1960, to Cecil Eugene Strickland and Stella Mae Strickland.  He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, being outdoors, and especially sharing a southern cooked meal with his family and friends.  

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Christy Pollock, Stella McClung and Lee, Jessica Vinent and Colden, and April Paul and Douglas; his son, Ryan Terra; and his grandchildren, Amber, Bryar, Dalton, Destiny, Whisper, Olivia, Brayden, Kenneth, and Preston.  He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Braelynn and Stella and his ex-wife, Rhonda Ready.

Mr. Strickland was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Eugene Strickland and Stella Mae Strickland, as well as several siblings.
