Desma Bevolene Pritchett

Mrs. Desma Bevolene Creel Pritchett, age 94, of Jakin, GA passed away on Sunday morning, October 12, 2025 at her residence.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Jakin City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pritchett was born on May 24, 1931 to William Sanford Creel and Agnus Irene Burgess. Mrs. Pritchett was a homemaker who loved to fish, cook and work in the garden.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Ann Evans (Buddy) of Jakin, GA, Billy Claude Pritchett of Jakin, GA, Jan Pritchett of Jakin, GA, Desma “Nan” Aguayo of Colquitt, GA, and Beverly Kay Pritchett of Jakin, GA; her brother, Johnny Creel of Jakin, GA; and her sister, June Parker (Fred) of Donalsonville, GA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Pritchett was preceded in death by her parents, William Sanford Creel and Agnus Irene Burgess; her husband Claude Pritchett; her grandchildren, Tiffany Vargas and Joseph Sheffield; her brothers, Paul Creel and Ronnie Creel; and her sister Hilda Miller.
